The Taglocity Quick Search box can be enabled and placed on your Taglocity Toolbar to provide quick access to Taglocity keyword searches. This feature is for users who prefer Taglocity's keyword searches to Outlook's, and for Outlook 2003 users who don't have a convenient Outlook search box.
To show the Quick Search box on the Taglocity Toolbar
1. | On the Taglocity Toolbar, click the Taglocity button |
2. | Select Configuration |
3. | Click on Settings |
4. | Under Taglocity Toolbars and Tagger, check the Show Quick Search box on the toolbar checkbox |
5. | Click OK |
To perform a quick keyword search using Taglocity Quick Search
1. | Type a keyword or keywords in the Taglocity Quick Search box |
2. | Press Enter on the keyboard |
3. | Taglocity Search opens embedded in the Outlook main window and lists all item containing the keyword(s) in your default locations |
4. | If necessary, use the Advanced filter controls to narrow down your result set |
5. | When you done with Taglocity Search, either click the Back button on the Outlook toolbar, or choose a feature in the Outlook navigation bar |
Tip If you don't want Taglocity Quick Search to open embedded in the Outlook window, then you can delete the Taglocity Search folder in the Outlook navigation bar. From then on, Taglocity Quick Search results will display in the normal Taglocity Search window.
