In addition to searching Outlook items for particular keywords, Taglocity can exclude items with specific words from the search results.
To find items that DO NOT contain specific words
1. | Click the Search button on the Taglocity toolbar or ribbon tab to open the Taglocity Search window |
or
Click on the Taglocity Search folder in the Outlook Navigation Pane (if you haven't deleted that folder)
2. | If the More section is collapsed, click the expand button |
3. | In the Must not have Keywords box, enter the keyword, or keywords that the search results must not contain |
4. | Click the Go Find button or press Enter to initiate the search |
Tip Another way to exclude keywords in a keyword search is to type NOT, before any keyword you wish to exclude, in the Type your search keywords here box. Any word that is preceded by NOT is excluded from the search results, and all other relevant words are included. For example to search the keyword trip, but exclude the keyword Boston, in the Type your search keywords here box, type: trip NOT Boston. To exclude Miami as well, type: trip NOT Boston NOT Miami.
