After using Taglocity Search to find Outlook items, you can tag one or more of them directly in Taglocity Search.
To tag multiple Search Results
1. | Select multiple To select individual items, hold down the Ctrl key while clicking items in the search results list. To select a range, click on an item in the search results list, hold down the Shift key, then click another item items in the search results grid; |
2. | In the Tagger (Type here to Tag box) enter your tags (Tip) Either type the tags into the tagger separated by commas, or start typing the tags and select from the auto-complete list with the arrow keys to select, then Tab key to accept, or click the drop-down arrow in the Tagger and click the checkboxes next to the tags you want to assign. |
3. | Press Enter (recommended) or click away from the Tagger to save the tags |
Tip When you assign tags to a lot of items, and some of the items belong to tagged conversations, then Taglocity has to find and tag the other emails in those conversations. This can add significantly to the processing time. Even though a progress dialog box with a stop option is presented, you may want to skip the conversation tagging process to speed it up. You can stop the process and clear the tracking cache, essentially cancelling i.e. removing the Tag Conversation settings from all marked conversations all tagged conversations, then try tagging the items again.
