The Tag Search feature allows you to quickly find all items tagged with a specific tag.
To begin a Tag Search in the Tagger
1. | In the Tagger, if the tag you want to search is not present, then select an email that has that tag assigned, or enter the tag into the Tagger (Tip) Either type the tags into the Tagger separated by commas, or start typing a tag and then select it from the auto-complete list with the arrow keys, then press Tab to accept it. Or click the drop-down arrow in the Tagger and click the checkboxes next to the tags you want to assign. Note that if you type a tag into the Tagger that's not setup yet, then Taglocity will prompt you for confirmation to add a new tag to your collection. If you answer Yes, then the Tag Properties dialog box will open for you to change default settings if you like. |
2. | Right click on the tag and select Search for this Tag |
3. | Taglocity Search will open and show your results based on your default locations |
4. | If necessary, change your locations and use the other controls such as the pruning feature to narrow down your result set |
To begin a Tag Search in Configuration
1. | Click the Taglocity toolbar button or ribbon tab, then choose Configuration |
2. | In the left pane, click Tags |
3. | In the Tags list, click the tag to be searched (Tips Click the top node of the tree and start typing the tag's name to quickly locate it) |
4. | At the bottom of the Tags list, click the Search for this Tag button (Tip you can also right mouse click and select Search for this Tag from the context menu) |
5. | Taglocity Search will open and show your results based on your default locations |
6. | If necessary, change your locations and use the other controls such as the pruning feature to narrow down your result set |
