The Conversation Reader has two modes: Compact and Normal. Compact mode is designed to work in narrow spaces. It only shows preview bubbles of all messages in chronological order for a given conversation. The Normal mode shows the preview bubbles and fully renders the current email in a user sizeable pane next to the preview bubbles. The preview bubbles show the sender's name, how long ago the message was sent, and a short preview of the message body.
