The Tag Bar is an optional Taglocity toolbar where you place commonly used tags quick access via mouse or keyboard shortcuts. By default, the Tag Bar automatically appears when you check the Show on Tag Bar Any tag can be set to show on the Tag Bar. Open Configuration, select the tag you want to see on the Tag Bar, and check the Show on Tag Bar checkbox setting of one or more tags. If it doesn't appear when there are tags set to show on it, then it is probably turned off so turn it on if you want to use it.
In Outlook 2010, the Tag Bar is shown on the mail home ribbon and also on the Taglocity ribbon. In addition, there is a compact Tag Bar group with a Tag Bar button that opens a gallery with the Tag Bar tags. This group is designed to provide access to Tag Bar tags while not consuming a lot of ribbon space (see Tip below). Tip In Outlook 2010 you can use the built-in Outlook ribbon customization feature to put Taglocity command groups (such as the Tag Bar or the Compact Tag Bar) on other ribbons. For example, by default, the Tag Bar does not appear on the home ribbons for Outlook items other than mail such as contacts, calendar, etc. You can choose where the three provided including two normal Tag Bar groups and one compact Tag Bar gallery.
