The Taglocity Contact Bar provides quick access to information about a contact and also gives you a snapshot view of interactions between you and other contacts. It shows all recent conversations and attachments exchanged between you and the sender of the selected email, regardless of the current folder or view open in Outlook. There are also many productivity features in the Contact Bar. Jump to Using the Contact Bar for more information.
The Contact Bar, consists of three sections and can be embedded almost anywhere in Outlook.
To open, close, or change the location of the Contact Bar
1. | In Outlook 2003 and 2007, click the Taglocity button on the Taglocity toolbar, click Contact Bar, then click View |
In Outlook 2010, click the Taglocity ribbon tab, then click Contact Bar in the Layout group
2. | In the sub-menu, choose the preferred location, or select Off to close the pane |

Tip With a single mouse click on the middle of the sizeable border (it may be vertical), you can temporarily hide the Contact Bar, and then bring it back with another click.
Performance Tip Taglocity does not process anything for collapsed sections. For example, if you collapse the Stats & Status & Tags section, then the processing that builds the chart does not run which can improve responsiveness on some slower computers. To collapse a section, click the expand/collapse button at the far right of the section's heading panel. If you collapse the whole pane by clicking the collapse button , then none of the three sections will update.
