setting to apply tag to an entire conversation by default started
in my previous email management program (clear context), the default is to apply a category to the entire thread by default. having this as an option would reduce the time to deal with full threads.
Good suggestion.
I do want to add that if you 'right mouse click' in the 'Tagger' area then a menu option appears to tag the entire conversation, but it would be helpful if this was automatic.
Also, what a lot of people do is let some tags 'travel' on the message too, as they way any replies come back on the thread tagged, although I understand that isn't how everyone is comfortable using tags.

Set Tag Color in Properties Box started
Allow users to set the tag color in the Properties box and also let us set a default color for new tags

Create a user forum to share best practices and problems planned
I am an active participant in many User Forums for my most important software. It lets me ask questions and glean best practices without having to go through the vendor. It expands the conversation and creates more customer loyalty
Yes, I agree and a User Forum is planned and something we want to get up and running as soon as possible.
Just as some background to this, as explaination as to why we haven't just thrown up a quick phpBB2 traditional forum, is that we did run a Taglocity Group called 'Beta Forum' during our beta program, and it had over 500 users. What we found is that the Taglocity group worked pretty well but was unsuited for a really large public community, i.e. as a public forum - the group concept seemed to work best as a private discussion medium.
So what we are doing now is working on new Taglocity Group features to make a better public forum (let people be anonymous, easier posting, moderation, better tagging etc) and will use that as a way for the community to share ideas/best practices.
So a great suggestion and we do agree - Apologies for the wait, and we're pretty keen to roll out the new features soon too.

save tags
so i can restore them after i backup/format/install my OS/Outlook
There is a feature to support this called Roaming Configuration. You enable it on the Settings page in Configuration, then sign in with your free Taglocity account. A copy is saved online, then when you enable it on new computer and sign in, your tags and settings will be transferred.

Allow user to hide Twitter button.
Not all of us Twitter and it would be nice to hide the Twitter button on the Taglocity toolbar. This is important in a corporate environment, where it may be frowned upon to be Twittering on company time.
We have renamed the Twitter button to Status and now give users the choice to update their 'status' to Twitter or Taglocity Groups (well in the next beta drop that is). This is part of the philosophy of improving communication without contributing to email or inbox overload. I wonder if hiding the button would really limit people using Twitter for personal purposes on company time? I mean, what would stop people from un-hiding the button, or simply using other tools for Twittering if they want to? Opinions?

Followup TagAction under review
One of the TagActions that might be useful is to mark the email for followup in Outlook. This is more than just tag it with a "Followup" tag -- this is use the Outlook followup menus so that it shows up as flagged in various windows in Outlook.

Add tag group or parent tag options when creating new tag
Typing a new tag into the tag bar gives you the option to save it as a new one, and the extra tag options (like colour and tag actions) is good, useful perhaps once in every 10 new tags.

Auto-assign tags if word in subject matches existing tag.
Title pretty much sums it; it would be nice if you could have an option to have a tag auto-assign if the text of an email subject matched a tag already in the user database.
Example: I have a tag for "Invoices" - receive an email called "Outstanding Invoices On Your Account"...; more

Blackberry planned
I manage a lot of email in my blackberry. It would be great if there was some taglocity functionality available on the BB. Wouldn't have to be all of it but the ability to assign tags would be great.
Can I do it manually by just adding Tags: to bottom of email I send?
Yes, you can manually add a tagline (i.e. Tags: tag1, tag2) to bottom of your email and Taglocity will parse it and assign the tags when email with the tagline arrives in any of your 'monitored' folders. The Inbox is the only 'monitored' folder by default but you can add more, such as your Sent Items to the 'monitored' list via Configuration/Settings.
We do plan to build a BB app but can't say when it will be delivered.

autoremoval of tags after action
I use tags for actions, such as my tag "tasks" for setting up an appointment in my calendar - which nicely attaches the email i ve received to the calendar entry.

Allow more advanced filtering from the outlook filter pane under review
From a new user who may not understand everything yet (so please correct me if I'm being dumb)... I would really like to see the filter pane improved to include:

Thanks good feedback Richard. Currently we don't offer those extra option on the Filter area, although that was mainly to conserve screen space. We'll revisit that decision.
In the interim you can 'hack' the filter yourself, although it's not ideal. In Outlook you can use the 'View / Current View / Customize Current View...' option. From there you can edit the 'Filter' portion to enter your own query, e.g. "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office#Keywords" != 'Support' would select all message with a NOT on the support tag.
As for the search folders on the non-default store, that's an Outlook restriction, but we are investigation ways around this.

remember email address and related contact
Usually Taglocity is not able to find the correct contact to an email in the Taglocity pane.
It is possible to select the correct contact in the drop down list, but it seems, that this relation is not being saved.

not pop-up search in "taglocity" window started
It is really clunky to have search results in a pop-up window.
I would like to see a more connected search and results - more of a OEM feel.
We have implemented this feature for the next update. It wil be optional. One thing to remember is that there are advantages to having Search is in it's own window because it makes it super easy to come back to where you were with a single click.

improve auto suggest to also include commonly related tags
I would like to see the suggest by content or auto suggest not only make suggestions by content but also look at history of what tags were commonly used together and suggest most recent combinations.
For example in one email I tag Home, Page, Research

Would be great to see more KB articles showing the results of problems/questions other people have had and to be able to search them.

Integration with MS OneNote? under review
I am increasingly using OneNote to create tasks (usually for myself) and currently have to open each task in OL to add tags (which are all too often the same default set).

We'll have to look into this - perhaps there is some way to tie this into our Auto Assign Tags feature. Thanks for the suggestion.

Have a 'send & delete' button when suggesting tags started
G'day,
the tag suggestion box (which pops up when sending email that doesn't have tags auto applied) would become about 100 times more useful (as opposed to being mostly an annoyance) if it had a 'send & delete' button. Really really useful.
We love this idea! It will be in the next update.

Auto Publish
When I tag a message with a Group Tag I would like the message to be auto published to the group.
Preferably the auto publish is an option in tag properties. -
