If you have Windows Search installed on your computer but Taglocity Search, or other Taglocity features using the Windows Search service don't work, then it could be because the Windows Search service has been stopped without your knowledge by another Add-in.
How to start Windows Search
| 1. | Click the Windows Start button |
| 2. | Right-click Computer (or My Computer) then click Manage to open the Computer Management window |
| 3. | In the navigation bar, open the Services and Applications node, then click Services |
| 4. | Look for Windows Search in the services list, right click and choose Properties |
| 5. | Click the Start button if its active (i.e. if the service is stopped) |
| 6. | Ensure that the Startup type is set to Automatic (Delayed Start) or Automatic |
| 7. | Click OK to close the window |
