Taglocity General Discussion Forum

Seems strange that there aren't many posts in this forum. I would have thought with this type of product there would be quite a few people trying it out, and tons of subsequent questions.

Kind of makes me nervous jumping into something if there aren't many paying customers.

I'm not sure how to answer this one, so here goes: :-)

- Downloads are still pretty good per day, although it did go quieter over the holidays. I imagine people take vacations etc. I know I did.

- People seem to email [email protected] a lot more than use this forum for Q&A. I don't really know why, but I guess people just like to use email more.
I get a lot of email :-)

- There is something very big happening to Taglocity, and IngBox Software, that I can't yet discuss - this has meant that a lot of our marketing/PR has been purposely quieter than normal. I can say though that it is very good news for Taglocity users and things are looking great for 2007.

- Maybe people aren't getting stuck for questions, as the product is so easy to use. :-)

Thanks for the reply David. I wasn't really expecting one since it was meant as a comment (a difficult one at that ;) )

I was actually going to say something about it being bug free so no one was posting, but left that out ;)

Good to hear something big is coming. I really like the concept of the product, and it is a good foundation for other applications to piggy-back on.

One reason the forum may not be active is that it is not very well organized.  It would be a good idea to have it broken up into "Announcements", "Troubleshooting", "Beta Testing", "Requested Features", "Tips & Tricks", etc.

I agree, and we're changing over forum software soon and will have better specific areas for topics plus notification etc.

The appeal of using this Fogbugz forum originally was just pure ease of use, but I think it's grown a little too big to be useful.
