Outlook Error -- "A program is trying to send e-mail ...."

first of all -- great program.  works very well.  One issue:

I very frequently get the following error message:

Error: A program is trying to access data from Outlook that may include addresses book information.  Do you want to allow this?

If this is unexpected, it may be a virus, and you should choose "No."

It then lets me allow access for 1, 5, or 10 minutes.

It seems to happen most often when I click one of the tag buttons on the tag bar...

Is anyone else having this issue...any solutions?

thanks

Hi Michael,

That shouldn't be happening at all, so could you send in a diagnostics 'Taglocity/Report a Bug' report please? The info in that text file will help get us started into trying to track down what's happening, as it lists your environment.

One possible explanation is that there may be corporate lock-down of Outlook addin's as part of a policy?

Anyway, what you are seeing isnt how it should be so I'll try to help.

Easiest way past this (a normal Outlook security message when any external application tries to access any Outlook data) is the free application "Click Yes" from Context Magic, available here:  http://www.contextmagic.com/express-clickyes/.

The other way is that developers can utilize the Redemption Library to allow their add-ons to access Outlook without such interruption. That can be downloaded, David, from the MSDN site.
