    support searching for a tag in configuration (vs. searching items with a tag).

    At the moment Taglocity supports search for items that have a particular tag (or several tags or other search criteria).     This is already somewhat supported although not obvious (even though it is noted in the help system, we could do a better job making it more intuitive).

    Click the top node of the tree and start typing the tag's name to quickly locate it. As you type, the focus will automatically go to matching tags. Click in the tree again to begin a new keystroke search.

    Allow slashes in new tag names

    Because Outlook categories don't allow commas, I frequently use slashes instead. For example, a tag with someone's name might be "Last / First". Yet Taglocity doesn't allow me to create a new tag with a slash in it.

    Allow actions when a new tag is created

    As an editor, I manage a great many projects (30+), and need to be aware of hundreds of others. So I create a new tag AND a new task for each new project.

    It would be great if, when a new tag is created, there was an option to have a new task (or contact) created with the same name.

    reader shows emails from a different thread

    I received an email from someone that had a subject line similar to another thread but wasn't the same. Does the reader only look at the first x characters for a match or does it match the entire line?

    The two subjects were:

    * Status report for week ending sept 8
    * Status report for week ending Aug 31

    By default Taglocity uses the internal conversation ID that Outlook assigns to email. This way emails are kept together even if the subject changes. If you tick the 'Show all with same subject' checkbox on the Conversation Reader, then Taglocity will also include messages that have a matching subject with the currently selected email in Outlook. Note that Taglocity will strip off the first instances of Re: or Fw: to find matches.

    There is a feature to support this called Roaming Configuration. You enable it on the Settings page in Configuration, then sign in with your free Taglocity account. A copy is saved online, then when you enable it on new computer and sign in, your tags and settings will be transferred.

    When I tag a message with a Group Tag I would like the message to be auto published to the group.

    I would like the abilty to turn off the tool tips they may be helpful for first time users but I find my self always trying to look beyond the big yellow box when entering tags in the toolbar.     This feature is in development. Should add that the current release already includes a setting to make Sent Items exempt from Move to Folder actions.

    I get "suggested tags" in my tags which I don't want and use. A chance to erase those would be great

    It would be great if you could scan a folder and apply the auto tagging rules to it.

    Auto tags only get applied to new emails. It would be very useful if you could scan a folder and apply to all items in theis out look folder. That way you could tag items that existed before you installed taglocity or before you created the tag
