Removing Tags, not removed from Outlook TagBar

If Tags are removed Taglocity Setting>General>Remove they are not correspondingly removed from the Tagbar (if one of the 8 top ones shown).

The tags on the emails remain, even through the tag type is removed. This fair enough, but even if you first remove all the instances of tags from the emails there remains the potential to tag something with a tag that does not exist - see above scenario. In the case you get an unknown tag appearing on the tagbar. Following this through allows you to import it (like a travelling Tag).

I assume also that the rename capability has not been enabled yet on the beta2.

Hello Graham,

The removal from TagBar bug is proving difficult to create, as in I add three tags to an empty Taglocity, then remove the second one, hit OK and the TagBar does update ok. I've tried a few combinations and no luck seeing it so far.

Could you turn on the diagnostic logger and send us the Bug Report via the in-application 'Report a Beta Bug' tool please? That will give us exactly the steps needed to see the bug.

As for the Delete/Rename, they did get disabled for Beta 2, apologies for that. At the moment the 'Delete' does just remove the tag.

In the next drop (already down here) they will provide the option to remove the tag from the 'data' as well.
