I found some problems with AutoTagging. One more time ( sorry David ;o) ) they may be related to my french version of OL 2003....

First of all, while I think I didn't make any mistake enabling AutoTag, none of the new mail I received during these 3 days of testing were (auto)tagged ( except of course, those who were tagged by you or other Taglocity testers ).

I thought it probably came from the threshold of the Bayesian Filter which were set to 1%, so decided to move it to 10-15% like I saw Tim suggested in one other post. But unfortunately, threshold setting doesn't seems to work too ^^. I'm still hanging at 1% when I come back to options window.

Anyone to confirm this last point ?
David, any suggestion on how I can help you to categorize this bug ?

OL restarted this afternoon. No more threshold setting problem, but autotagging still not functionning.

Do you have 'auto-tag' on the TagBar set to 'on', meaning highlighted?  Per another forum item, there are some other issues with the AutoTag option that can be a bit confusing.

You can test autotagging by manually tagging a few items in a thread, then highlighting another item in the thread and toggling AutoTag on or off.  This usually triggers the autotagging for me.

I think it does highlight the usfulness of Taglocity having a way to verify that autotagging is up and running and doing good statistics.

I think this may be another Outlook French locale issue. I've still got a few outstanding incidents to Microsoft on this, plus have not got any European language test setups.

For this Beta 2 loop it is good to find bugs, but it is still only English-US in terms of priority.

I hope that makes sense.
