What Have I reviewed for tagging, and what haven't I yet?

One issue I have struggled with from first using Taglocity was knowing which items I have reviewed for Tagging, and which ones I hadn't reviewed.

I have found that I scan emails for whether they have action I need to follow up separately from what 'tags' they may be related to.

So, I have created an Outlook Rule tag all incoming (and outgoing, more recently!) with a "NeedsTagReview" tag.  Actually, I just called it Review, but that's not really clear as to what I interpret it for.

I have also created a 2003 search folder which just shows the Review tagged items.  So, when I am processing email and I do tag it, I clear the Review Tag.  However, when i am doing a batch update, I review the email in the Search Folder, tag it all up, the select all the items and clear the Review tag one time.

Is it just me that finds this an issue?  Or, is this problem something that would be useful for Taglocity to build out?

yeh i've had this issue too.

i tried to 'filter' for all items that contain no tags -- but the software interpreted this as meaning "you don't really want to run a filter"

How do people like the open in the 'Filter' and 'Search' things for me to put a special tag called 'No Tags At All' (I'll work on the name ;-)?

Also, the Filter used to have a '3rd toggle' of NOT, as in if you toggle a tag around it would put a 'prefix AND NOT Tag1' in your search/filter. I got feedback that it was getting a bit too contrived.

What do people think?

(A) Put a 'No Tag' special in for clicking

and/or

(B) Put (back) in the 'NOT' toggle
