new tag button in tag cloud
customizable hotkey if possible?

i was wondering what that blank space was for in the tag cloud. for some reason the "(New Tag...)" link just showed up in the cloud today.

Yes, the 'Add Tag' on the cloud is odd in that it appears after the TagBar is full - that will be fixed.

The hotkey is a good idea - we'll look at that.
